I don't know if they coat them with wheat flour or spray them. I do know

that my son reacted severely to them and we don't go near them ever

since. BTW, we did clarify that they were cooked in a dedicated vat at

the time. My son actually enjoys homemade french fries best ( I

purchased a slicer and a deep fryer). And if we get anything from the

fast food joints he gets the prize, and the sprite and is happy with

that. Or I will give him something special just for him to make up for

it and he is happy. I was blessed with a very accepting kid.

OK, but they do have the onion rings mixed in continuously with the

fries. Have you ever ordered fries and gotton an onion ring in along

with them? Remember they have 14, 15 and 16 year old kids working at

majority of these places and people do make mistakes. The oil is shared,

if not during the original cooking, it most definetly is during the

straining and reusing.
