I'll try to do this without goin on to long.

first off i have delt with depperssion for most of my life that

would come and go, I did notice years ago that a few days befor the

depperssion would hit me ,I would get a feeling in my gut like

something was wrong.like when you had to slam the brakes on to avoid

a car wreck, and you would get the butterflies.A day or so later the

depperssion would set in on me.

AS far as my graves disease, I know that I must of had it for years

before i knew it.At first I had no ins ,so my family doctor tryed to

help as much as he could. At first he thought it was just

hypothyroidism and put me on tap for a month or so, And said that

will bump the thyroid into working right. Well when I went back I

was hypo, so he put me on synthroid. But I would only take the

synthroid for about two weeks,Then i would start to feel bad.So

Iwould just stop takeing it. I would wait a few months without

takeing anything,Go back and I would be hyper agian. This went on for

about two years. But it seems I never did well on the synthroid.

Well got ins and found out it was graves. And had RAI and found this

site. And some of you got to know me pretty well ( Pam,).

but this is my question, At my last trip to my endo my levels where

very hypo.

T-4,free 0.5 L (0.8-1.8)

THS 57 H (0.40-5.50)

from my understanding it take up to 4 to 6 weeks for the synthroid

to start working? but after 7 days of 100mcg synthroid I started to

feel better,I improved to just feelin bad, and yes that was an

improvement! But now 13 days into the synthroid I can feel the brain

fog rollin back in.with my thyroid being dead could the synthroid

work on me that fast? and could the butterflies be a sign that my

levels are going to high or to low?and has anyone else connected the

butterflies to deppersion?

sorry so long.
