I have had a few inquiries about the GFCF notebook that I put together and

I thought I would give a better description to the list in case someone

else is interested.

Below are my sections (in each section, I put a piece of white paper

labeled with subsections)

I hope this makes sense:

* Bread

Subsections: ready made

mixes

* Milk substitutes

(you could put a page for each type of milk: i.e. almond, rice,

potato)

* Meat

(Again...a page for beef, chicken, hot dogs, etc.)

* Pasta

* Potatoes

* Rice

Plain rice Rice Cakes

* Soups

* Beans

Baked beans Refried beans

* Vegetables

* Breakfast

Waffles Pancakes

Syrup

Hot cereal

Cold cereal

* Tomato Products

Spaghetti sauces Tomato paste & sauces

Salsa

* Fruits

* Flavored drinks

* Margarine substitutes

* Oils

* Cheese substitutes

* Calcium

* Acceptable additives

* Unacceptable additives

* Eating Out

* Allergies

* Teas

* Phenols

* Feingold

* Company addresses & phone numbers

* Sample Rotation diets

* Sample Daily diets

Hopefully this is a good starting place for those of you who are

interested. You can adapt to meet your circumstances, this is just what

worked for me. It is so wonderful to take my notebook to the store instead

of wondering about a product I haven't seen before (or better yet

purchasing it and then finding out it is not acceptable). My notebook is a

work in progress. I went to the GFCF website and copied all the acceptable

products and then cut & pasted them in the appropriate places. Some of my

sections are still pretty bare.

Oh , thankyou! I am going to put mine together tonight! I bought

all the stuff today. Question: what size is your binder? I think a

regular sized one is too big, so I bought an 8 1/2 x 11 " size binder. Or

could it even be smaller? Thanks again so much! Hugs, H
