Hi all,

I had the same question.

Even though I have been dealing with my graves disease, since last

september.

When I was diagnosed.

Actually longer.

And of course now I'm heading towards remission.

I still have a lot of problems, with cognition and other things.

So, if the letter to family and friends can be found.

I could sure use it.

My family and friends think that I am totally cured now.

Like not!.

Pam L.

Thanks for the spouses letter.

It will come in handy as well.

Appreciate all of the info from this site.

Finally, Elaine's book isn't in an accessible format for blind people

like myself.

I found this pretty enteristing.

Thought that I would share.

OK..

I have copies of the two family letters. And they are OUR property, due to

the fact OUR members wrote them !

I shall dig them out of the dusty recesses and go ahead and send them back

directly to the list for all so share once again !

Mellisa,

I dropped a note to Elaine concerning her book not being accessible in

Braille. Just in case her misses it here on the list.

I did include your address.

This is pretty cool... you get to be the one to let the author know !

What about 'Thyroid for Dummies' ?

That one is not too bad, and a good basic for everyone. It seems to be the

ONLY popular thyroid book out on common book racks, that does have CURRENT

information on ATDs. This all takes time.

Personally, I had to start with the easier books till I had a better

understanding of what the questions even were.

-Pam L- way behind in replies I am aware ~sigh~

not even sure yet what everyone was up to yesterday. But now I am off to

work... trudge, trudge...

Pam L.

Will check on the thyroid for dumbies.

Hadn't heard of that one.

Thanks.

Elaine's book isn't even on tape anywhere that I can find yet.

I'm sure I'm not the only totally blind woman with Graves.

Of course blind women are not included in various statistical datta.

This is another topic of its own.

so, won't go there.

Have a good day.

School is starting on monday for me so will be busier.

Graves and I go back to grad school once again.

Lol lol.
