Guest guest
I would stick with both. As far as a good milk sub, try the Vance's Dari free. You can get that at www.abersoldfoods.com Also, just because the allergist says he's not allergic, does not mean he does not have an intolerance to the protein casein. It's not the same as a dairy allergy. My son shows no dairy allergy, but does show intolerance to casein and gliadin through his Igg and Ige test. I would stick with both diets and ride it out at least 6 months. a - Madison WI > Gavin still likes milk and reaches for it in the frige. What is the > best tasting milk sub that he could have? And. as an added bonus, you get the beneficial bacterial cultures (just like yogurt) to help stabilize the gut! Cherri

If you make it right (starting with hot water) it is very, very good and creamy. Tasts like a thinned out vanilla milk shake. Also LJ liked Pacifics rice cocoa beverage. That had some thickness to it too also, which LJ seems to like, but found out he is allergic to rice so its strictly Dari-free now. The GFCF diet is not just for those allergic to milk and all, ( F. just posted a reply to you) reread her post, she said it all. In fact I saved her post in my " keep " folder incase I need to ever comment on the diet. (It must be something about people named cause A. explains all too), hopefully she'll answer your post too. If you do decide to stay with this diet (I'm hoping you do), it is important though to do it 100%. Get rid of those yogurts!!! They sell yogurts that are ok for the diet. on Long Island New York * ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
