Guest guest
Hi Ron and , What I neglected to mention about the article was the researchers' point that stress reduction can make us healthier. In terms of their study, exercise, eating and sleeping well, and refraining from smoking decreased levels of the presumably harmful chemical. I'm certain yoga and a host of other energy and relaxation techniques would work as well. My endocrinologist, who's quite savvy, told me Graves' was caused by stress. However, I clearly helped it along by taking kelp supplements, which have lots of iodine, not to mention my allergic reaction to an iodine contrast dye injection years ago. Happy 4th! N.
