I have had swollen glands for over 6mo and noticed that they are finally

gone and my thyroid levels are normal for the first time in a long time.

There are many others who have these swollen glands in this group. Mine were

never sore though,so I would definately talk to you doctor!

Many blessing,Jen

Hi Jen,

Thanks so much for your message. It gives me some needed reassurance. I

have been sleeping much of the day to escape for a while, but I know that

is not a good thing to do all the time.

As I understand it, the tenderness from the swelling is short-lived (as in

a day), due to the fast expansion, but the swelling may persist without

soreness. I am going to speak with the endo and see the GP tomorrow. I'm

really nervous about talking to the endo, as he advised me over the phone

to stop the meds (I told him I had a rash, but my GP looked at it and said

it looks like folliculitis and unrelated to the PTU -- and my hubby seems

to have a bit of it too -- and that I could continue, so I did), as I don't

want him to yell at me for not following his instructions! I hope he won't

be too hard on me :-( I also hope he doesn't insist on me stopping the

meds if I don't really need to, especially without seeing me in person.

Since I don't have a fever or sore throat, I didn't think the glands were

cause enough to stop (the endo was advising me to stop on the basis of

rash), but maybe I'm wrong. My WBC results from Thursday looked OK. I hope

I'm not getting myself into trouble here!
