Guest guest
Hi and Aldyth, Sixty days ago I added some Synthroid to my PTU to get my levels up from the low-normal range and since then I've lost close to half the twenty pounds I gained when I went hypo last fall. I'd like to say I've worked to make this happen, but probably only about half of the loss could have come from eating right and being active, as I haven't been that good on either count. I get blood work done again next week but have the impression I'm euthyroid rather than hyper, so I guess this time the weight loss is a good thing--as opposed to last summer when, untreated and hyper, I began to look like a victim of starvation! But I agree, finding your own right levels is key. Best wishes, B.
