Guest guest
Here is a link with some information on sulfur transferase - it is about 2/3 the way down the document: http://members.aol.com/lisas156/gfpak.htm This is what MSM is for and epsom salt baths. We use TwinLabs MSM from the health food store. The recommended dose is 1500-3000 mg/day. A study by Shattock found 83% of autistic children were PST abnormal and MSM should help this. http://www.fwt4c.com/htm/treatmen.htm http://www.isn.net/~jypsy/epsom.htm (epsom salt bath) You can also search for Rosemary Waring, who is doing a lot of research in this area. http://www.kessick.demon.co.uk/aia2.htm http://trainland.tripod.com/paul.htm . P.S. Is this more than you wanted to know?! > my son seems to fall into this, PST stuff, and phenols, does obviuosly > improve on Feingold. > How does one Look Into This? Is this what Kirkman's MSM is for? help!? > > >
Guest guest
's links are great. Another product to consider is Glucosamine Sulfate. MSM contains sulfur which the body should be able to convert to sulfate, which is what is deficient in PST problems. Some kids don't seem to make the conversion, so the Glucosamine is more direct. Plus some kids react badly to MSM. There must be some reason why MSM is more popular, but I don't what it is.
