Guest guest
My new labs are: T4, Free - 1.2 Ref Range: 0.8 - 1.8 TSH - 1.95 Ref Range: 0.3 - 3.04 TSI - 147 Ref Range: 125 or less The last time I posted my labs (early May), it sounded like I was heading towards hypo. I asked my endo to lower my dosage since I was feeling a few hypo symptoms, cold & tired. He asked for labs again and now it doesn't look like I'm hypo. Does this sound correct? The last time was TSH was 3.24 and now it's 1.95. Is it normal to have such a drastic change in 5 weeks? Thanks.
Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the input. That 6 week lag makes it all more confusing for me. I'm pretty much feeling the same as I was before (6 weeks ago). I did follow Terry's advice and started spliting my meds in equal portions instead of taking just one dose in the mornings. Although, the bad thing is that I usually forget a dose (usually the night one) which is probably why I was feeling tired. No, the doctor didn't change my dosage from my labs in May. He is waiting for my most recent results. Since it looks okay I'm guessing he probably won't be agreeing to any lower dosage.
Guest guest
Elaine, I haven't changed my dosage yet, at least not intentionally. I use to take the whole dose in the morning and now I'm splitting the meds and taking it 3 times a day. Although sometimes forgetting the last dose. Would the change in the way I take the medicine (3 times a day versus 1 time a day) speed up the effect of me heading towards being hypo? Based on my latest results, would that be an indication to stay on the same dosage or possibly a lower dosage? Or should symptoms dictate that more than the lab results? Lab results again: T4, Free = 1.2 (0.8 - 5.50) TSH = 1.95 TSI = 147 Also, based on my 147 on the TSI, does that mean I am a long way from remission? Thanks.
