Guest guest
Thanks so much for your always helpful input ladies. Even if my case isn't the worse, it's bad enough for me.....and it helps so much to get informed insights from those down in the trenches with me! It's just amazing to me how quickly all my numbers did shift around from the low dosage I've been on. Since I've been on the 5mgs. for 2 days now, I guess I'll stick with that for this month and see where it takes me. I did waffle around a bit the first day and took 7.5....but as I said I wasn't feeling too spiffy and would like to bounce back from this stage I'm in....if this is hypo give my hyper any day. :-) I am getting new labs in another month. My endo is seeing me monthly for now.....which is good. And I've already told him I would want antibodies checked before I would consider stopping the meds Alison, even if I am in the " normal " range. Even told him why. He just smiled and said okay, whatever makes me happy. LOL Can't really complain about him too much then I guess, as I only wish some of the other people in my life told me the same, especially my teenagers at home. About pill splitting....would you believe I'm so anal that I am splitting those 5mg babies into 6 sections Terry? Well, I am that anal! LOL It's maybe not the most precise cuts, but I don't have too much of a problem with crumbling. And that way I still take my dose 3 times a day. What kind of pill cutter do you have? Mine is this little blue number, and has this v-shaped guide that the pill pushes up into on the base. It's sometimes tricksy aligning the halves to cut evenly into 3rds....but I seldom have a lot of powder to show for my efforts. :-) I may shift my dosage to 2x daily once I am at a level with all my tests where I feel good and I've been there for a bit. Have the best of all possible evenings you two. And thanks again! " Big fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite them, Little fleas have lesser fleas, and so ad infinitum.
