Guest guest
I am happy to see OT discussions on enzymes and chelation. I am saddened that somehow this brings unhappiness into people to the point that we are told to discuss it elsewhere. I find it easy to skip discussions that I am not concerned about. I heard about doing enzymes around the same time we started this diet. In my opinion, if a parent is seeking a way to skip the diet then they probably were not 100% committed to it to begin with. Our family is committed to this diet AND we are committed to helping our son by using enzymes (which we started four days ago). Our son has more problems than just needing to be GFCF. These enzymes help him digest GFCF food. From what we have been told, we may be able to finally solve our son's bloated belly and diarrhea - something the GFCF diet alone did not help. Our son does not digest all his food - it stays and ferments in his belly. We do belong to the enzymes list, so it's not like I HAVE to have these discussions here. But I wanted those of you who do bring this topic up to know that I for one am not the least bit upset by having additional information to battle for my son's health. > I never intended to say enzymes replace gfcf.
