Only chicken nuggets! Help!!

Hi Joe,

since your little one seems to like the nuggets, how about making nuggets

with other meat? Burger nuggets, lamb nuggets, etc. Shape them and

bread them just like your chicken nuggets. Also offer a dip on the side

for them - 1/2 pureed veggies/ 1/2 mashed potatoes(GFCF) or just a plain

applesauce or pearsauce dip.

I avoid ALL artificial food colors and dyes, you can play with food to

make color - just a tiny bit of beet juice makes things reddish pink,

blueberries make a blue, grape juice concentrate. Remember just a liitle

so as not to flavor it.

As far as peanut butter they have almond butter at Trader Joes. $4 for a

16 oz. jar. I use it for sandwiches and his cookie recipes. My son has

a 1 allergy to peanuts also, and he accepts the almond butter. They also

sell cashew butter but LJ has a 1 allergy to that also so.....

Good luck with this diet, it gets easier. My son didn't want many things

at 1st either, I wouls freeze it and reoffer it at another time, now we

are 1 year and 1 month onto this diet - no artificial colors or

preservatives, no peanuts or pork or chocolate. Soy only 2x a month a

rice only 2x a month. LJ loves evry meal and snack I make him.
