Guest guest
Hey Pam: My hair fell out in clumps for a good 6-8 months after I stopped taking my ATDs. It still falls out much more than before, although not in scary clumps anymore, but that could just be old age . . . For a period of time after I stopped my ATDs, I still felt fluctuations between hypo/hyper. I had to learn what part of the range felt best for me. Also it can partly be a state of mind - now, when I'm cold and tired, I just think I'm cold and tired, and don't worry too much about feeling hypo. I still think about it when I have hyper symptoms, but as long as the labs are ok, I'm ok with it. Definitely I am not the same person I was pre-Graves though, I never really got my strength back, and can't work as intensely as I used to (used to pull 2-3 day stretches with no sleep). Part of that is a good thing though, because I am happier not pushing myself so hard (and nap frequently). Turns out the world doesn't fall apart just because I am not busy busy busy. Regards, > I don't know why my hair is falling out in clumps if these numbers are so good.
