Guest guest
Hi, Pam, First, I have to apologize for swamp the group with mails (14 out of last 90 emails). I thought my posts can be beneficial to some of the members here who do not have the access to medical literatures and have only heard the one side of the story. Second, I did not intend to cause anyone's stress. I thought this group is a place for other to express their views and search for support and people only look at the views not the person hisself. I thought the world is beatiful because we are all different and we had different views. Do not get agitated because others might have different views. Truth will always be truth. Just stick with what you believe in which I always do. Third, I did not know the rules here for posting studies/research results. So, I have posted the some of the abstracts in the post area and a full length articles in the file area. I will provide URLs intead of articles in the future, however, for abstract or some of these free PDF files, I think it should be ok in terms of the copy rights issue since they are all public information. I will try to put as many URLs in one mail as possible, so it can avoid some of the problems you mentioned. If peple do not like them, just delete that message as a whole. Finally, I have to point out that I did feel some of your words are rude and offensive in a certain degree. I do not have any bad intention as you suspected. I have shown respect and restrain when someone launched person attack. I did not have much emotional words in most of my posts if you look back. I only post facts. However, I did question people's basic education when people compare RAI to nuclear fall-out, I did call some of the presentation as distortion and exageration when people make blind comment and assumption without looking into facts. In a certain degree, I am a bit saddened by some of what you said and suspected. After all, we are all Graves patients which should make the unity. All right, best wishes, Liang Terry, Actually, it was not your suggestion that made me to post some of these posts. I just wanted to give out some facts which I learned throught the endeavour in the past 6 years. I thought it might be helpful to some of these people here. So as today's link, actually, it was a small mistake. I intended to only post the link to three reviews about TSI contraversy, but I posted the whole content instead. For some of the research, you might feel disgusted. Yeah, some of the studies might not be complete as we could like to see, some of the design might not be as humane as we would like, however, it is the nature of the research, we might have to live with it when we read them. I did not intend to cause such a " turmoil " since I was thinking people might be open to embrace the different views and co-exit and they would give out some of their facts too, so it will be clear to rest of us what to do. However, I am a bit dissappointed. Once again, I would like to apologize if past few days has been stressful for some of our members. It was not my intention. Just hope the group will not be a place for anti-RAI compaign. If so, I would not see how it is different from the NGDF board which will be the other side of the extreme or the doctors who rushed people into RAI without informing the patient with other options. Best wishes, Liang > OR perhaps your goal is to have members unsubscribe from our list ? This is > a common tactic by TROLLS.
