Guest guest
I am so excited and want to share more good news about Austin. We had his IEP last week. Austin has been in PPI for since March 2000. His teacher had told us that he no longer qualifed for services so I knew that he had done well on his testing. The test results were all really good -- But the speech and language tests were amazing. When we started interventions, he was 3.11 and had the language of a 2 - 2.5 yr old. He couldn't answer a single 'wh' question -- but was reading at a college level (hyperlexic). Here are his Speech and Language test scores at exactly age 5.0: (AE = age equivilent ) PPVT IIIA: 117 AE 6.4 TOLD PV 14 AE 7.6 RV 11 AE 5.9 OV 12 AE 6.3 GU 14 AE 7.3 SI 13 AE 7.3 GC 10 AE 5.6 My heart is bursting with joy.
