jodi i seen your post on andrew's progess i was hopeing it would turn

out better for you all buti know it will be ok. but my question to

you is does dr.h see you in new york on a regular baises or do you

just see her in chicago. because of the fact she did tell me if the

periaction did not help jacob she would want a g-tube and i was

thinking i wounder if she would want this done in new york.

Cara,

We have seen Dr. H twice. Once in late October of last year in New

York, and once just at the convention this year. I am sure there

will be more trips to New York in store for us. And, the way it

looks, if we do go the Nissen route, I think we will be having it

done in New York. The reason for this is because they have perfected

it for these kids, and the surgeon who does this surgery has worked

with Dr. H for years, and knows her protocol and how to take care of

our kids during surgery.

As far as going to New York for a g tube, I doubt it. But, that is

were your comfort lies. Most GI doctors can put in a g tube, but the

doctor would have to be able to follow the protocol of Dr. H. Email

will try to help you out with getting a hold of Dr. H. I have

recently emailed her, and she has responded both times. She is

usually pretty good at responding.
