She read the first book in the Addie series (a book about a little African American girl who was a slave in the 1860s). We went to the NYC store -- and bought the doll, some accessories and all the rest of the books. Addie sleeps in a bed next to ..... she wants to go get a " new outfit " for Addie, since the winter clothes she came with are a bit warm for our Manhattan Beach weather.....
