The Dari-free to me is a thicker bev. and tastes not bad, I heard many kids don't like it though. but LJ does and it sort of tastes like a vanilla thick shake that was left out to defrost. You said you took dairy away - what does your son drink? You asked about starting this diet. Well you started with the first step - remove the dairy. Also, that means cheeses, butters, etc. Once thats accomplished you start with the gluten. I had my son allergy tested first to make sure that I wasn't going to be giving him food that his body would have problems with and this way the diet would be able to help him with all these items removed also. Those are the only tests I did- the allergy tests. A ggood book to get and read is " Special Diets for Special Kids " by . It tells all about this diet, has recipes, explains ways to replace items, etc. Its a good book - she mentions alot about various tests and supplements, etc. , but I just skipped over all that. Most do do the tests and use supps. - I just chose not too. My son is a little over 1 year and 1 month on this diet and doing GREAT. Good luck- in New York (Long Island) * ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less!
