Guest guest
Hi- I bought it not long after I went online-about 3.5 months ago. My daughter has been gfcf for 14 months. The binder would have been of huge assistance to me in the beginning. I think the cards to carry in your purse into the store could be a mainstay for anyone. and very helpful for those relatives who want to help/and or babysit but don't really have a clue about the diet. I did it without being on-line, maybe not perfectly at first, but you will get better at it!! You can do this. Everybodies here to support you! Deanna Thank you so much for your reply.I do have a more positive attitude towards this diet which is what I needed more than anything else.I tried to get on this diet with my son who is PDD and I read the book " Unraveling the mysteries.. " by Seroussi and the honest truth is I was so impressed by her " success " that I wanted the same type of results she achieved but didnt realize I was setting myself up to fail by comparing myself and my son to her by trying to do this diet " right " from the very beginning and do it perfectly as well.I dont know why I did all that but then I made it much harder than it had to be.So now I just feel like this diet is important but not a big deal to do as long as I start slowly and have lots of love and patience with myself and my son.I was also online with this group back in the winter and I allowed myself to get overwhelmed by all the info that comes out of this support group.I needed to get my attitude and approach to this where I feel confident and relaxed about it too.I have a lot to learn but am excited and embrace it one day at a time. Thanks for listening and sorry about the rambling. Love,l.
Guest guest
Hi l! I can relate to what you said so much! I read Seroussi's book too and went pell-mell into the diet. I also read Crooks book about yeast. I had so much info in my head and some of it going in different directions...I could never have handled all this on-line info back then. I used to feel out of the loop, like I wasn't doing everything for my girl because I didn't have a computer, things happen for a reason, I got this computer when I was reasy for it. And you know I do things the same now as I did then, we are all individuals and we have different styles and ways of coping. Ramble on...In Friendship, Deanna
