Guest guest
In many ways, the SCD diet is how we should all eat. It's basically a whole foods diet with many restrictions. Those without " issues " might find the recommendations of my personal doctor easier to comply with: a brief, brief summary is that he wants us to balance 1 carb serving with 1 fat serving and to consume no more than 3 of each per meal. If you're still hungry you can fill up on the " free " foods, which are basically beans and non-starchy veggies. It gets tricky when you look at his serving sizes -- they're quite small, roughly equivalent to 10g -- so all those carbs end up being sides. Even if you can't live by it strictly, it helps you see our total over- dependence on starch and sweets. in NJ > > Colleen honey isn't the worst -it's the only sugar allowed on the > specific carbohydrate diet.
