Guest guest
I am currently reading Eating Well for Optimum Health by Weil, M.D. I just thought some of you might be interested in the section of the book entitled " The Basics of Human Nutrition " because it has a very thorough and fairly easy to understand description of fats (including EFAs in depth), protein, and carbohydrates and what each one does in the human body. He also covers vitamins and minerals to some extent. He also touches on allergies and enzymes. It has helped me understand the " big picture " as far as what our kids need to be healthy. Hope this helps someone. (aidan's mom) P.S. I bought my copy at Sam's Club, but I'm sure it's available at the library, bookstore or Amazon.com.
