Guest guest
- It's Aileen from CT with 34 month old Jake with RSS (23# 5oz). I was deeply touched by your appeal re: the young girl from Korea. Our foster child (Jake) has RSS & was diagnosed at 4 months. When we took him in at 6 months we knew his diagnosis, but not what we were in for. We also have 4 other children (non RSS). We have learned, made mistakes, made smart choices with re: to him and his care. (G-tube -triple x) As we also do with our other children. I feel for the little girl because she has been turned away from 2 families and she seems to be in limbo.. I'm rambling, the point I want to make is anyone with a big heart, common sense, support and patience can give a child with RSS a good home. I wish that little girl the best of luck. Guest guest
I too felt the same way! My husband and I have always said we would have adopted if Emerence hadn't finally come along....I am especially moved because my friend Jill, age 30, is doing fine almost 2 years now after a double lung transplant due to cystic fibrosis. Her family had 4 kids yet adopted another child with CF knowing his condition was the reason no one else wanted him. died just months ago of CF at the age of 23. What great and selfless parents. , mom to 4.5 and Emerence 20 mo old 18 lb 11 oz 28.75 inches, SGA Small Girl wi th Attitude and poss RSS > - It's Aileen from CT with 34 month old Jake with RSS (23# 5oz). > I was deeply touched by your appeal re: the young girl from Korea.
