Guest guest
Hi Terri, Your question made me curious so I searched the Graves_Support archives and also thyroid-info.com. A quick look found only an article from Shomom on the latter site saying that Unithroid and Synthroid are different manufacturer's versions, along with two other brands. She says the only difference among the four is in the binders and fillers, some of which might possibly cause an allergic reaction in some people. She also says that the best replacement is the one that works for you. Based on that article it sounds like there's no real difference except in your doctor's preference. Best wishes, B.
