Guest guest
Stacie - please read my other posting. There is no " prediction " of height on GH for children overall. Everything is based on a variety of factors -- your own child's target height is most important! If your child starts GH at an early age (age 3-5), sees an endo regularly and has dosage adjustments, keeps his caloric intake up at a normal base, and takes his shots consistently, then the goal is to get your son as close to his target height as possible. Your son's target height is: add 5 inches to mom's height and add to dad's height, divide by 2. (For girls, subtract 5 inches from dad, add to mom's height, and then divide by 2). My daughter is tracking to about 5'6 " after 4 yrs on GH; her target height is 5'7.5 " . I talked with a mom of an RSS boy the other day and her son, after years of GH under Dr. H, and Lupron, is 5'7 " tall with a target height of 5'9 " .
