I just came across this when talking with a friend, I think I posted

it a few years ago. My holistic doctor recommended this natural fish

extract called Stabilium (Garum Amoricum). It's made from a deep

ocean fish off the coast of France. I tried it and got relief from my

rages. The manufacturer indicates it's for anxiety, but it really

smoothed out my flashes of rage. No side effects for me or feeling

drugged. A couple of other friends tried it, and it helped the one

who was experiencing rage, but not the one who was experiencing

general depression and anxiety. Might be worth a look through any

search engine. A note that my endo thought the effect might be from

iodine in the fish.

During the time before the ATDs started smoothing things out, I think

the most common words out of my mouth were " let me speak to your

supervisor! " - seemed like everything drove me to hysterical anger

really quickly, and I always felt completely justified, even though a

part of me would be thinking, hey, that's not me, am I going mad? I

cried from relief when I first read about Graves' rage on this board!

Even in remission, I find that I am a bit quick tempered, especially

when stressed, maybe my brain got rewired - but don't worry, it's

nothing like when I was really hyper (I'm sure my family and friends

are grateful).

Many thanks, , it is very scary when that is not your normal

personality. I shall make inquiries about Stabilium, we do not have

access to all medications in New Zealand, but we are not backwards

either, so hopefully I will be able to find it.
