Guest guest
Hi Guys, It's 2 in the morning and I'm not working until tommorow night and I'm on this damn computer trying to catch up on stuff. Just typed up my thank you letter for the donations for the walkathon Jillie and I did last week (10.5 miles). Got them all in stamped addressed envelopes for the mail in a few hours. Raised a total of $2,570 with a possible few more dollars to come in. Jillie had a blast on the walk until mile 7 when she kept twisting around in the stroller and saying " up " which is one of the few words she says. I hurt for days but am pleased to say it was worth it. Does anyone know if I send the money to Salem or Magic in Chicago?? I can't find the paperwork. And when is it supposed to be in? I loved Kearn's idea for trunk and treat. What an awesome way of making special kids feel normal. Jillie went out for the first time ever this Halloween as a unicorn with her 5 yr old bat ninja brother Ethan. Everytime someone tried to give her candy, she pushed their hand away. She had no clue!! But she was the cutest thing I ever saw in my whole life! Not that I am biased or anything! Enjoy the weekend - I'll be at work as usual. Guest guest
- I can't believe you and she walked that far!!!! That is amazing! walked 11 miles but she is 8 1/2 years old. I am so proud of Jillie (and you). Yes, I stayed up late last night addressing all those eps, too, and kept thinking to myself " remind me again why I am doing this. " HA!!! Once you collect your donations, make a copy of your pledge sheet and mail the donations and your pledge sheet to MAGIC, 6645 W. North Ave., Oak Park, IL 60302. If some later ones come in, you can mail those again with a note saying " more for Jillian H... " Make sure that any donors over $100 have their name and address on your pledge form, so we can get tax deduction receipts mailed to them. Awesome job you two!!! Remember when you weren't sure you wanted to do it? Look at what you have done!!! > > Hi Guys, > It's 2 in the morning and I'm not working until tommorow night and > I'm on this damn computer trying to catch up on stuff.
