" Weight gain usually happens when thyroid levels (FT3 and FT4) are too low, so best to avoid that with proper monitoring (blood work in 3-4 weeks). If you got used to eating more calories while hyper, then it is time to resume normal eating habits (the one downside I have found in leaving hyperland ;-) ).
