Guest guest
Angie, Our food allergy IgG tests were all blood serums. I'm skeptical of anyone recommending that many new supplements at one time. All the DAN doctors we use have one thing in common, they all say start with ONE thing at a time and put a couple of months in between each one and keep a journal of daily diet and responses. Otherwise you'll have no idea what exactly is helping or causing a major problem. I wanted to purchase a bunch of new stuff at the recent DAN conference but didn't. I picked up or purchased samples where I could and stayed our course of current supplements which we are still fine tuning. I was so anxious to 'do more' when we had 75% of my son's extensive Great Plains Lab test come back abnormal but after 3 months I now see why it's so important to just do one thing at a time and then see what happens, then add another. The blood food intolerance tests are not completely accurate in our case. My son's not allergic to carrots or sweet potatoes on the test results but if he consumes them even in small quantity, he'll be like a monkey on acid within 10 minutes. Guest guest
Donna, You may be seeing more of a phenol reaction...seems like certain phenol foods affect these kids and this can vary. My son can eat blueberries, strawberries fine but apples (which he is not allergic to) make him freak. Re: allergy testing/IgG question > Angie, > Our food allergy IgG tests were all blood serums.
