Armour Morning/Cytomel Night?

My armour is set at 120, but I still get a little tired later in the

day. I have heard this is because you may need to split your dose to

twice a day.I have read that Cytomel is synthetic T3 only.

I always take my Armour on an empty stomach first thing when I wake

(I eat no breakfast) I wait between 2 and 2 and one half hours and

eat luch around 11 am. It would be a pain to worry about absorption

(especially the T4 part of Armour) getting absorbed properly by

halfing it and not being able to eat or drink later in the day for

the same time period again. So, could'nt you take your Armour which

is T4 and T3 as usual in the morning and then around 5 pm take a very

small ammount of Cytomel to get you through the evening? If you took

a very small ammount of Cytomel at that time as opposed to having to

worry about an empty stomach and making sure you get the T4 part of

Armour to absorb completly as it would on an empty stomach in

the morning would'nt that be easier? Is there any interaction between

Cytomel and Armour? I could not feel right at all on Synthroid and

with Cytomel being synthetic also would it help or act like the

Synthroid even though the Cytomel is T3 only? Would'nt this make your

levels more balanced over a 24 hour period just like taking Armour

twice a day?

I feel fine all day from 9am when I take my Armour until around 7 pm

then I

start get to feeling a little hypo (light brain fog).

I don't know about doing the armour and cytomel, but I take synthroid and

cytomel. I do my morning dose as soon as I get up, then 1 hour later I eat

breakfast. I lunch at noon, then at 3:00 take my second dose of cytomel.

Eat dinner around 6:00. I need to wait 2-3 hours after lunch before I take

the cytomel, and I could eat an hour after I take it. It does help me cut

down on unneeded snacks in the afternoon. Maybe part of your problem is

that your body does need breakfast. It's not a good meal to miss, in fact

you shouldn't miss meals, just eat smaller ones. I feel fantastic on the

synthroid/cytomel med's. Synthroid alone didn't do it of me.

Good luck,
