Guest guest
Beth - ahhhh.... and after reading your email, L's peds called and said the same thing. Undoubtedly, we will find out that she has ulcers in her duodenum. Cancer is so infinitesimally rare in children. But with her other GI issues, ulcers would make sense, and she said they take antibiotics, etc. We'll wait for the biopsy results and I am no longer very worried. Thanks guys! - > > > > Hello everyone - > > > > First, I am going to post something but if any of you know > something > > BAD about what I am posting, please do NOT email me. Guest guest
, I could have written the book on the results of 's endoscopy results. This has happened to Max three times! The first two times it was because Max had h pylori AND ulcers. Antibiotics took care of that, for the most part. Unfortunately, h pylori can test positive almost all the time for some kids, but treatment is not necessarily done. The more concerning thing is the ulcers that can be there as a result. Again, more antibiotics. (And, contrary to popular old wives tales, milk does NOT help!) I'm sorry for the loss of Possible. We have lost guinea pigs and rabbits over the years. I know how devestating it can be. The kids become so attached. Unfortunately, it's the circle of life. I know that while is so sad now, in a few weeks you all will be laughing and talking about that animal. Make a point of it. I have always brought up funny things about our pets. It lets the kids know that life goes on and that we can have happy memories and keep them as part of our lives. Jodi Z
