Thyroid replacement/Water?

I know now you are suppose to wait 2 hours after a meal (food) to

take your thyroid med. but what about drinking a couple glasses of

water? Will the thyroid bind with a liquid like it will food?

I figured you could probably drink a glass of water and wait about

half an hour as opposed to an hour after eating food? Anyone know?
