Guest guest
I created a new poll on the GFCFkids website. The question is: Did your spectrum child sleep on a used crib mattress? I'm trying to do some research into antimony and arsenic poisoning due to the high levels of poisoning in my 16 month old son. I've found much research from Great Britain and New Zealand proving that crib death is the result of poisoning from Arsenic and Antimony in their crib mattresses. Arsenic and Antimony are used in PVC to make the mattresses anti-flammable. The problem arises when the mattress is used again by a second child and a certain type of otherwise harmless fungus is present. The fungus reacts with the Antimony and Arsenic in the PVC and forms a toxic gas that, over time, can result in SIDS. They have done autopsies on these victims, and found high levels of Antimony and Arsenic in their hair as well as their liver, suggesting that it was a slow but gradual poisoning. For some reason, this study has been hushed in the United States, but SIDS rates have dropped drastically in G.B. and N.Z. due to public awareness and safety covers used over the mattresses. There are reports that this story has been done by Ed Bradley of 60 Minutes, but for some reason, it has not been aired. Could our children be poisoned the same way, just not fatally? Please vote so that we may see some figures.
