I was thinking those of us who went to convention could reply to

this message and just list 3-4 things that we learned at

convention. That way if someone missed a talk or have a specific

question, we can help out that way. Please remember to put all

your " info " at the end so we can keep track.

I'll start.....

1. Dr. Harbison and Dr. Spigland talked about GI issues. I was

surprised that even kids that have the triple procedure (fundo, g-

tube, and pyleroplasty) still showed delayed gastric emptying.

There must be something inherently " messed " up with their systems as

the surgeries, while helpful, don't just solve the problems.

2. I learned that my son probably has reactive hypoglycemia. He

doesn't drop enough to spill ketones, but enough to cause the mental

symptoms of hypoglycemia.

3. The entire ADD discussion was phenomenal. I know he was joking

when he said that pets can diagnose ADD, but Matt has always been

too active and " in your face " for animals to put up with.

4. If you are going to convention try to bring a spouse or someone

to help. I went alone and missed out on a lot of the social stuff as

it was just me and the kids.

Periactin, Growth Hormone, Prilosec, Zantac (soon to start

again),Prepulsid (soon to be off the market), Ritalin LA
