Guest guest
Hi, We just tested my son for corn, potatoes, and pork. Must to my deep dismay, he reacted highly to the potatoes!! GOSH! First the eggs, then rice, now potatoes? Man, I am going nuts now. As for the Fritos, I thought for sure he would react to corn since his all time fave Fritos started sending him into a crazed frenzy. But, he did not react to popcorn.... Well, there you have it. It is not allergic to corn (yet) but there is something in those FRITOS! Other parents beware of them. He didn't used to react to them, but now he does in a big way. BTW, I am trying to think of some creative things to make in the deep fryer now to replace his beloved french fries. Anyone have suggestions? Is there any veggie I could cut into fries, bread and deep fry? zucchini? One more question; regarding chicken nuggets. I have not been able to get him to eat chicken nuggets in spite of the many different recipes I have tried. I think it is the texture of the chicken. Is there a way to mash up (food processor?) the chicken and form it into french fries, and bread them? If anyone has attempted something like this please advise me. I guess they would kinda be like meat puffs (he won't eat 'em) but in the deep fryer and shaped more like fries? Thanks, Charlene
