Hi, I was diagnosed with graves about 1 1/2 years ago and went on

medication (Tapazole) The meds worked fine and my levels were normal

so my doc had me go off for a short period of time. The levels went

back up so he put me back on the tapazole ( a very low dose) and my

levels came back down. I was feeling great. He had me try going off

again and this time my THS is coming down. My hair is thinning but I

have no other symptoms as yet. He says that he would recommend RAI if

my symptoms return and my T3 & T4 levels change. I'm very leary about

the RAI and am trying to read all the information I can before

deciding what to do. I would like to go back on the meds because they

worked so well but am not sure what the long term effects of those

are. If anyone has any info or suggestions on where to get more info

I'd appreciate it.
