Guest guest
We live approximately 25 miles west of Cleveland, in Ohio. Going all the way to NJ for a few hours, just wouldn't be financially feasible right now, especially after the convention, but I would love to get together sometime!! We got our weight-for-height chart from our ped, but S was saying that you could find them on the CDC site, online. What I meant by being more prepared was that I knew how overwhelming and hectic everything would be. I knew that I wanted to meet and chat with more people this year, so I just made more time for it (definitely suffering from lack of sleep! LOL). The emotional side of the convention can be really overwhelming. Just meeting so many people that understand, and that can empathize with you (something that most of us don't have close to home), is really an emotional event. It's like a massive family reunion!! And these new friends are so emotionally supportive, something I really needed this year. A special thanks to those who helped me so much!!! You all know who you are!! I, also, knew that I would get a ton of info in the seminars that I wouldn't be able to process immediately, and that I would have to research further to be able to understand completely, so I went prepared to take good notes, and not try to understand everything all at once. I'm still trying to assimilate everything I learned this year, and I can't believe how much I miss the people that I connected with. I'm sure that these are strong friendships that will last a lifetime even though we're separated by distance!! Any time, or anything, I can help out with, just let me know. I've gotten so much help and support from the people here, and I'd love to be able to return the favor to others!! Hugs to you all!
