To Jennie -Question Re: Facial Swelling

Barb,

I went to see the plastic surgeon/eye disease specialist last week.

She said that the only thing that needs to be done at the moment is

track my disease, and wait and see if it worsens. She did take

photos of my eyes and measurements so that she'll have something to

compare to pictures/measurements in the future. She is seeing me

again in 4 months, but did tell me to come in before that if I

notice that my eyes are getting worse.

I've had bad allergies for many years, and take allergy medicine

every day. In all those years I have never had swelling over or

under my eyes except for a severe case of angiodema on and off for 4

weeks about 16 months ago (we now think this was the beginning of

TED), and the swelling I am experiencing now.
