Guest guest
I thought I read or heard somewhere that Skintastic was okay for our kids. My son is a mosquito magnet and it always drives him inside. He is just now really learning to have fun outside and mosquito time in the evening is when the temperatures finally get pleasant here in Texas. A bit frustrating. I've also read that using a scented dryer sheet, tucked in a pocket or waist band repels the buggers. I'm sure the safety of these sheets is also debatable, especially if you are sensitive to odors. I've purchased a band that emits a sound that is supposed to drive off the mosquitoes, too (mimics the sound of a natural predator, I think). I need to find it and give it a trial again this year. It seems like it was somewhat helpful, but kept falling off my kid. Another was left on and ran down the battery.... Yet another project for today, find the noisemakers and get a new battery . I like the fact that they are chemical free and really want them to work! Have any of you shared experience with these things or know something about their safety?
