Hmm, all that work and only GF? How helpful is it? Considering a popular

brand of tuna contains casein disguised as soy I wonder. I guess if it had

the pareve label plus it was GF, that would do it. Buts lots of CF stuff

doesn't have that pareve label on it.

For the technicalities, if you can scan it I wonder if you could then run

it through an OCR (optical character recognition) program. My scanner comes

with one of those, but depending on the quality of the type it is still

potentially a lot of work.

So now I wonder if I should try a different tack. Maybe contact these

outfits, explain my purpose, and see if they can provide me with softcopy

for their lists of GFCF foods. If I have it in any computer readable format

whatsoever I can then copy and paster instead of having to type. Big time

savings.

I have a fax machine too btw, but now I realize this is going to be a real

big effort. Seems like it'd be worthwhile though. I think I go through

phases with the diet, and now I'm in the paranoid phase. My son showed me

some jellybeans a neighbor gave him. My daughter told me though that my

wife looked over the ingredients first.

It's fantastic that our neighbors are all so understanding and supportive here.
