Yes, my son has " encephalopathy " . Ped. Neuro. said he would have called him

PDD based on his 2 - 3 year old history, if we had brought him in at that

time.

So, officially he is off the spectrum, but I know that he was once on. He is

doing much better on the diet.

BTW, I have a sister with schizophrenia. I believe we have a genetic

gluten/casein intolerance.

Down's kids I think also may have gluten intolerance. I've read that 10% of

Down's kids also have celiac. I would certainly try the diet if my kids were

Down's.
