Our little guy has always been pretty selective about food. But

lately he's gotten to the point that he will only eat chicken nuggets

(home-made, GFCF). The only other things he will eat consistently

are potato chips, peanut butter (+1 sensitive), and Farley Blues

Clues Fruit Snacks (which are GFCF but have to have lots of dyes,

etc.)

He used to eat toast or cereal or waffles for breakfast, but hasn't

touched any for days. He refuses fruit (will take an occasional

banana), and will not eat any meat (hot dogs, hamburger, etc.). He's

in traditional daycare, and his provider reported that before he was

GFCF he ate mac & cheese, and ramen noodles with the other kids. We

found ramen with rice noodles, but he refuses that. Tried plain rice

and GFCF pasta with no luck. If we give him PB & J sandwiches, he'll

take them apart, eat the pnut butter, and leave the rest.

He drinks AJ, Snapple, and CapriSun, all of which we're diluting with

water because of the sugars. Has never accepted plain water. Has

DariFree in AM and at bedtime. Sometimes we rotate with rice milk.

Running out of ideas and getting very concerned. He's eating nuggets

two meals a day and we're concerned abt him developing a sensitivity

to THEM.

He's been CF for abt six weeks, and GF for abt three weeks. Started

him on SNT abt ten days ago with no adverse reactions.

What do you guys think? Is he going through gluten withdrawals? Is

he getting too much sugar? Food colors and dyes? Or is he just

being stubborn (a possibility) and we shd let him be hungry rather

than give him what he wants?
