Guest guest
le, the SAME thing happened with , and I can take a stab at what happened, because this is what they told me. When a child's blood sugar drops out meaning basically hits zero), the child's liver suddenly releases in a quick rush its store of glucose, which dramatically shoots up the blood sugar levels sky high. 's was something like 464 when we tested her. Within an hour or so, especially if you give them lots of plain water, the blood sugars will come back down on their own. Datreon got complicated because he hadn't eaten anything and he was sick. Then when his blood sugars started coming down, there wasn't any glucogen storage in his body for it to come down to (hadn't eaten) so it started to fall again. The rush of the juice jumps it way back up again. We were told that it is even more important now with to make sure she eats every 60-90 minutes. If for some reason she can not eat, she has to have an IV. It doesn't mean every time her levels will crash, because sometimes there will be food stored in her body. But we can never take the chance. I would ask a good endo what they think about this possibility.... > Hey everyone, I just need to vent right now. Yesterday, Datreon suddenly > became lifeless and his fever shot up to 101.3.
