ATDs: Why Just for a Year?

Now that I am just past the one-year mark with MMI (7.5 mg/day), I'm

preparing myself for my endo objecting to my using the drug for much past 1.5

years. I

don't feel I am close to remission, so I know I'm going to need it longer

than that.

So ... where is the deep, dark, ugly medical literature that backs up the

medical establishment's argument that ATDs should be used for just 12 to 18

months? They must have something that they are basing this on. I want to know

what

it is so I can be better prepared to argue my case.
