Guest guest
Does anybody use the buckwheat cereal from Kinnikinnick? If so, is there any way that you've found to get away with doing this in the microwave? I allways did this with our oatmeal (not the instant kind) and it came out nice and thick but not lumpy. I've tried the buckwheat by heating the water and then adding the cereal and cooking in the microwave; I've also tried it like I did the oatmeal, by just putting it with the water in the bowl and microwaving--stopping and stirring. Both ways it comes out lumpy--chewy, actually. I can do it on the stove pretty well, but would really like not to have to do this. I like being able to do just do the serving in its bowl and put it on the table. Any tips would be appreciated. Cheryl
