Dear Listmembers,

I'm looking for your opinions on your favorite labs for urine peptide

testing. We will probably do urine peptides on the kids 1 or 2 X/year to

make sure they stay in normal range, so I am looking for one consistent lab

to do it with every time.

We have tested the family at Reichelt's lab in Norway. We all have

abnormally high glutemorphine, the kids are the highest.

Pros: It cost only $25/specimen - not bad.

I didn't have to have a dr. prescription.

Cons: I had to buy a cooler, cooler packs, beg a hospital lab for urine

containers, send through U.S. Postal service myself, and the U.S. mail took

longer than they thought, so I don't know if it was still frozen by the time

it got there.

It takes a few months to get results back.

We tested my son at AARL, California after 5 months on the diet. His urine

peptides were within normal range.

Pros: It was very easy to ship, they pick it up from the house.

Results were done quickly ( a few weeks?)

Cons: I had to get a dr. prescription first. It cost $100.

Which labs have you used? How much did it cost? Did the results seem

credible? How was the shipping? How long did it take get back results?

Thanks for any help.
