I never really considered this aspect of the disease before. I think you just put the finger precisely on what I hate most about this disease. Loss of control. Depending on a doctor (who we know can be unreliable). As much as I hate my levels going up and down and changing how I feel, at least I know it's my body doing it. I'm not dependent on meds yet. So I'm going to quit whining (quite so much, anyway) and count my blessings for a change!
