Could Diet have caused seizure?

My 3 1/2 year old seemed to have a mild seizure a few days after

beginning the elimination diet. He had an EEG today which was

normal. We were wondering if he was having a withdrawal, could that

have brought on the seizure? Has anyone else seen anything like

this? My son has never had any episodes like this in the past and

has not had any since.
