Start thinking about what likes and how you can add cream,

butter and oil to things. Peanut butter and other nuts are good

sources of calories, too. Fats, protein and complex carbs are much

better for our kids.

We are lucky. Max would, for the most part, rather eat leftover

chicken, brisket, hamburger, spaghetti than cookies and candy. I

just found Snyders new pretzels that are sandwiched with peanut

butter between them. It's a bit harder for us because he is

allergic to milk.....

If you start to think " out of the box, " you will come up with all

sorts of new ideas. Send me a list of the foods likes to eat

and I will make suggestions on how to increase the calories. And,

by the way, if she is not eating much sugar during the day and you

want to give her a can of Pediasure at night, I'm sure it's okay.

You just don't want to go overboard.
