Guest guest
Bill, Hang in there!! I had to laugh because I've said this a hundred million times (it seems) in the last year, too. FWIW, we just don't do any fast food fries anymore. Sucks, but the chance of an infringement was just too great. Besides, I have a hard enough time at home keeping him out of stuff (at least lately) :0) Hang in there over there in Alabama. Guest guest
I could relate to you saying that you are beginning to hate this diet. ME too! My husband keeps saying...let's take her off it. But I'm afraid to. So I keep going with it and complaining to him, LOL! We're only 9 weeks into it, but the past week or so I've begun to hate it too. Keep going..you are helping your son. Guest guest
Another possibility for fast food ff is Chick Fil A. They fry their nuggets in a different type of oil altogether than the ff, so they are *always* in different vats (ff are in vegetable oil and nuggets/strips/chicken sandwiches are fried in peanut oil). My son has these with no problems. He gets so excited that he can play in the play place and have a nice order of fries (they're good too!). Usually, we bring him a hot dog or something like that for the " main course " . -a mom to Alec 7 (nt) and Billy 4 yo w/autism > Hi Listers, > > I really am beginning to hate this diet! Guest guest
Bill, if you are looking for " no-brainers " -- a quick dinner without effort -- there are several Amy's frozen dinners that are GFCF (don't know about any soy or corn issues). You just plop them in the microwave. You can choose from the Shepherd's Pie, Tamale Pie, Asian Noodle Stir Fry (rice noodles), Thai Stir Fry, and Black Bean Enchiladas dinner. It's nice to have a " no-effort " dinner on-hand if you just don't feel like cooking. Hope this helped a little. -a mom to Alec 7 (nt) and Billy 4 yo w/autism > Hi Listers, > > I really am beginning to hate this diet!
